Disney World - amazing facts (part 1)

It has been 44 years since Disney World opened the gates to young and older fans of Mickey Mouse and his friends. Every time you go to one of his themed parks you will see something new and spending a whole day there is never enough.
Disney was not a simple entrepreneur. He had a strategic plan for everything to keep the park perfect by all means.
Below you will read some amazing facts about Disney World, so notice well the next time you visit it and explore the magic behind the obvious !

1) Secret Tunnels

Disney created secret tunnels to keep the mascots and employees away from the children and the rest of the world, so they could appear always at the best time  to surprise everyone. By this it would not be possible to see by accident an character from FantasyLand in Alice in Wonderland's theme park.

2) Secret Club

Again, Disney World was not built just for young fans. There is a hidden club called Club 33 where celebrities could go and party away secretly and in private. It is said that the entrance is extremely difficult, with a 10-year waiting list, $10,000 in initiation fees and another $3,500 yearly fee.

3) Clean Haven

Have you ever noticed that the park is so clean with not that much effort? It is because in every 30 steps that you take there is a trash bin. Disney noticed that for this long can a person hold his trash. Amazing huh? Also, he didn't want for the kiosk to sell chewing gums or anything else that is sticky.

4) Cat employees

Yes, that is right. Cats can work in Disneyland too. By chasing real mice of course. When Disneyland closes they fill the park to keep it clean. In day time they are kept in special parks where they take a rest.

5) Various Smells

Details details details. It is not strange that when you walk down on “Main Street, U.S.A” you will smell warm fresh baked cookies.  Or when you enter the Pirates of Caribbean you will feel the salty water in your nostril.
Most of the parks have these special machines called smellitzers that produce special odors depending on the theme. Very Clever!

6) Minnie Moo

If there is something important that you have to know about Disneyland is Minnie Moo. One of the best Mascots of the park. She is actually a real and special cow and was welcomed in the Disney Family in 1990 but unfortunately passed away in 2001. She had a mouse-eared pattern and everyone loved her.

7) Castle Changes

Many changes have been made so park in DisneyLand. A big one to remember is when Cinderellas Castle was transformed into a giant pink cake in 1996! After lots of pink paint and gummy bears, it was turned back to normal and again in 2004 to mark the opening of “Stitch’s Great Escape,” they "covered" it with toilet paper and graffiti!
