The Ice Caves under Mendenhall Glacier

Whether you enjoy hiking and nature at its best, you must visit the Mendenhall Glacier, in Alaska.

The Mendenhall Glacier is a 12-mile-long glacier in the Mendenhall Valley, located only 12 miles from downtown Juneau.

When you enter the hollow glacier you will be so amazed by the fact that on your feet you will see the water that runs over the rocks and when you look up you will see only frozen blue ceilings!

Is that scary or not?

It is for sure, one of the most beautiful caves you will have ever been in!

Don’t forget to have a Kayak trip and if you have enough time hike up over the Glacier to see the waterfalls too!

Many animals can be seen too, like eagles, bears, spawning salmon etc.

In this case, it would be good if you had an experienced guide, Ice gear and really warm layers of clothes.
