Avarage Monday in a 'non-avarage' city part 1.

1 day trip

Avarage Monday in a 'non-avarage' city part 1.

Do you want to feel yourself in Budapest like a local? Are you here just for a few days or a longer time? Doesn't matter, this itiniary can help you a lot;) Be local, don't waste your money and your time in our magnificent capital.

Day 1 - Average Mondays
Events of the day
Dinner time;)
Try one of the best Hungarian canteen-restaurant in the heart of the city:
Belvarosi Disznotoros
There you can find the perfect combination of the fine rural food and the modern Hungarian fast food restaurants.
Really great prices and quality Hungarian food in the city center (Kiraly utca 1/D. VI. district) with long opening hours.
You can eat typical local food for 1000 HUF (like sasusage, liverwurst, fried cheese, goulash, different kind of grilled chicken, etc.) and you can also try our local drink, the 'Froccs' - wine with soda;) The staff is really friendly and they speak also English.
Drink time;)
After the amazing local food lets go for a drink on this 'average' Monday night! Morrison's 2 is a good choice - International party night:
there is no enterance fee before 21h and you can drink all of the cocktails for 700 HUF..Yes, 700 HUF;) between 21h-24h there is an 50% discount for the coctails, so the prices are still good (the enterance fee is 500 HUF usually)
Morrison's 2 is located between the Nyugati railway station and the Jaszai Mari sqr, where our 'non-stop' tram is going (number 4-6). So you can go back home easily by the night tram.
