El Paseo de Los Tristes offers amazing views to the Alhambra.
Although El Paseo de los Tristes is named officially as Paseo del Padre Manjón, it’s renowned for this name because it was the place where funeral processions passing to the cemetery.It was made in 1609, on lands donated by Los Señores de Castril. The fountain that is in the center on the Paseo de Los Tristes was made in 1609 too.
On the left of El Paseo de Los Tristes, in front of the Alhambra, the Axares was stretched which means "health and delight". Moreover it was named as Hospital Africa, because its beauty and calmness of its climate.
